Steelers vs Bengals
Date:
Dec 4, 2005
-
These pictures are from our trip to Pittsburgh for the Steelers/Bengals
game on December 4, 2005. I didn't take a lot of pictures that weekend,
but there's a good picture of Bob & Tina--who was the couple we hung
out with most of the weekend. There's also a good picture of Jenn & I
on the ferry approaching Heinz Field.

Everytime we've gone to Niles, I've sworn I'm going to take a picture
of the Flicks video sign. From these pictures it's pretty clear what the sign says,
but when you're driving by the place at 35mph, the way the L and I are tilted
make the sign read slightly different. :)
The rest of the pictures are just some more miscellaneous photos of the dogs.

Some pictures of our new patio we had installed in the backyard. The
work was done by Dematteo's Patio here in Columbus and Tim and his crew
did a fantastic job!

These at the pictures Jenn took with her 35mm camera while we were
at the Steelers Training camp on August 6, 2005. This was Jenn's
first trip to Latrobe. After training camp was over, we went out
to lunch with David & Lori Fair--to which they treated. We then stayed
in downtown Pittsburgh at the Courtyard by Marriot.

Breakfast At Grandpas & Columbus Zoo Trip
Date:
May 29, 2005
-
Kind of a hodge podge of pictures in this set. The first picture
was taken at a Pancake Breakfast my Grandfather had for all the
Grandchildren. My cousin and his wife were getting ready to move
to Palm Springs, CA, so we probably won't have many more big
family breakfasts like this.
The next set of pictures were taken when Jenn's sister, Katie, came
down to visit us w/her fiancee's son Christian. We went to
the Columbus Zoo and these are the pictures I took.
The last set of pictures are a couple random photos I took of my
music instruments. Nothing exciting. ;)

Steelers vs Springfield Police Basketball
Date:
May 21, 2005
-
My Dad picked us up 5 tickets for the Steelers vs Springfield (OH)
Police Officers. The event was a charity for the young stepson of a
Springfield Officer who has been in and out of the hospital since
he was born. The event was like $5 per ticket and I'd guess there
was about 2,500 people there--but that's a pure guess. Jenn
and I met my Mom, Dad and second cousin Sammy for the game.
There were 2 former Steelers players there, Louis Lipps and
Edmund Nelson, and 4 second year Steelers--Max Starks, Matt
Kranchick, Willie Parker and Dedrick Roper.
Kranchick was definitely the best Baller of the group. For
most of the first half it was a Kranchick dunk show. Willie
Parker went on a little streak were he probably hit 7/9 from
3 point land. Starks had a couple of monster dunks--one that
about brought down the backboard--I thought the glass was going
to give way. Starks also had one monster rejection--he swatted
that shot into next week.
For the most part, it was all fun and games for players on both
sides of the ball. We all really enjoyed ourselves. Sammy managed
to get the autographs of everyone but Edmund Nelson and Dedrick
Roper. I told him if he could have only gotten 4 autographs, he
picked the correct four to get.

Trip To Chicago
Date:
Feb 19, 2005
-
I surprised Jenn w/a 4-day trip to Chicago for her 30th
Birthday. I told her about a two weeks before that we were
leaving town, but I didn't tell her were we were going or
how we were going to get there.
We spent Friday (her Birthday) walking the Magnificent Mile, visiting
the Hancock Center, take a bus tour of Chicago and then eating
dinner at the Chicago Chop House (excellent Filet Mignon & Baked Potatoes.)
We spent Saturday & Sunday visiting the Navy Pier, Shedd Aquarium, Field
Museum and seeing more of the town. Jenn decided she loves true "Chicago-style"
pizza, so we had it for dinner both Saturday & Sunday night from
Bella Bacinos on Whacker Dr (we ate the restaraunt Saturday night and
then had pizza delivered to the room Sunday night.)
